GCS Malta is looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager to work with one of Malta's leading international companies. The chosen candidate will be reporting directly to the CEO. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Handling sales inquiries, coordinating site visits, and preparing proposals. 
  • Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to order closure. 
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share. 
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through tailored waste management solutions. 
  • Maintaining accurate sales and client records within CRM systems. 
  • Conducting client presentations and service demonstrations. 
  • Collaborating with marketing teams on promotional campaigns and sustainability initiatives. 
  • Working closely with the CEO on business process development and implementation. 
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the waste management sector. 
  • Exploring and developing new niche markets to diversify the client base. 
  • Establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships. 
  • Monitoring customer satisfaction to ensure service excellence and client retention. 
  • Assessing competitor activity and market trends to support business growth. 
  • Expanding industry knowledge and market intelligence to inform business strategies. 
  • Travelling internationally to present projects and support business expansion initiatives. 

The ideal candidate must be in possession of a Diploma in Business, Sales, Environmental Science or a related field, whilst proven experience of 3-5 years in sales and business development is considered an asset. 

One must have experience or understanding in waste management, environmental science or related industry. 

This role requires strong negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, together with excellent communication and multitasking skills, and a proactive focus on achieving sales targets and driving new business development initiatives.
