GCS Malta is seeking a Fund Accountant to work with one of Malta’s leading financial companies. The chosen candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, responding to accounting enquiries, as well as performing fund analysis and reporting.
 

Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate NAV calculations within set deadlines 
• Ensuring timely delivery of work and maintaining client satisfaction 
• Preparing financial and management reports for funds 
• Performing cash and security reconciliations 
• Maintaining accounting schedules and accounting records/files 
• Preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS 
• Handling regulatory reporting requirements 
• Managing relationships with Fund Accounting Team Managers 
• Liaising with auditors and supporting audit processes 

The ideal candidate must be in possession of a minimum A’ Level standard in Accounts, with previous working experience of at least 1 year in fund accounting is considered an asset.

One must be professional with exceptional communication and organisational skills. Moreover, be capable of working within a team-oriented environment.

Fluency in the English language is considered a must. Knowledge in any additional languages is considered a plus.
