GCS Malta is seeking a Head of Corporate Finance to join a leading firm specializing in accounting, advisory, and business services.
The ideal candidate should hold a University Degree in Accountancy / ACCA qualified or equivalent, whilst at least 5 years’ post qualification experience and 3 years’ experience in senior management.
One should have a strong background in corporate client management within a professional practice environment, combined with commercial awareness and proven leadership experience in mentoring and developing teams. They should also possess excellent technical knowledge of accounting standards, company law, and corporate finance principles.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with client and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Leading and mentoring the Corporate Services team while fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Managing key corporate client relationships and ensuring excellent service delivery and technical standards.
- Overseeing corporate compliance, M&A activities, restructuring, and advisory assignments.
- Monitoring industry trends to ensure the department remains competitive and responsive to market developments.
- Setting and tracking KPIs and departmental objectives while supporting staff development and growth.
- Driving operational efficiency and digital transformation initiatives.
- Supporting strategic planning, business development, and brand positioning alongside partners.
- Providing technical guidance on complex corporate accounting and reporting matters.
