GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Production Officer to work with a local pharmaceutical company. The Production Officer will be reporting directly to the Production Manager.
The ideal candidate should be in possession of a University Degree in Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Science or related, whilst experience working in production/ GMP environment is desired but not mandatory.
This role requires experience working with SAP, along with strong multitasking, communication, and proactive problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Fluency in both written and spoken English is needed, as well as good computer literacy and command on MS office applications, especially Excel.

Responsibilities
- Managing, reviewing, and improving production documentation, including SOPs, batch records, and logbooks.
- Supporting packaging launch activities within the production department.
- Assisting manufacturing operations in line with company procedures and standards.
- Supporting the planning and coordination of manufacturing schedules.
- Assisting in training production personnel.
- Evaluating scientific and operational data related to production activities.
- Participating in deviation investigations and root cause analysis.
