Senior Auditor

GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Senior Auditor to join one of Malta’s leading accounting firms. 
 

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with audit teams to understand client operations and deliver tailored audit solutions. 
• Liaising with clients to obtain audit-related data and information. 
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships. 
• Preparing audit working papers and accurately documenting audit findings. 
• Managing audit engagements from planning through completion within deadlines. 
• Analysing financial data and evaluating the accuracy of financial statements. 
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements in line with GAPSME and IFRS standards. 
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members while coordinating with audit managers. 

The ideal candidate should be ACCA qualified or nearing completion of the qualification, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant auditing experience considered an asset.

The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of current auditing techniques and be familiar with GAPSME, IFRS, and International Auditing Standards. Strong organizational, teamwork, and communication skills, along with high attention to detail, are highly desirable.

Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential, as well as proficiency in using Microsoft office applications.
