GCS Malta is seeking an Audit Executive to join one of Malta’s leading financial companies.
Candidates must hold a university degree in accounting or be ACCA-qualified or equivalent, whilst holding a warrant would be considered an asset.
One must have strong experience in conducting audits within the banking sector and strong knowledge of IFRS 7, IFRS 9, and ISA standards, together with proven expertise in audit methodologies and techniques.
Excellent written and oral communication abilities are essential, along with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Assessing and identifying relevant risk areas and incorporating them into audit planning
- Performing audit assignments in line with firm methodologies and quality standards
- Supervising and developing junior team members involved in audit engagements
- Reviewing, investigating and resolving key audit issues and complex matters in agreement with clients
- Communicating audit progress and updates to the audit manager on a regular basis
- Fulfilling other duties as required by the firm when necessary
