GCS Malta is seeking a Senior Audit Executive to join one of Malta’s leading financial companies.
Applicants must hold a University degree in Accounting or be ACCA qualified, with a minimum of five years’ experience in external auditing. Possession of a warrant will be an advantage.
The successful candidate should possess proven expertise in bank audits, along with a comprehensive understanding of IFRS 7, IFRS 9, and ISA. A strong background in audit methodologies and techniques is also required.
Strong time management and organisational skills, together with excellent written and verbal communication, are essential.

Responsibilities
- Identifying business-related audit risks and planning audit engagements accordingly
- Carrying out audit assignments in line with firm procedures and required quality standards
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members involved in audit work
- Assessing and resolving significant audit issues and disputed matters in collaboration with clients
- Communicating audit progress and reporting updates to the audit manager
- Fulfilling other duties as required by the firm when necessary
