GCS Malta is looking for an IT Support Engineer to work with one of Malta’s leading tech companies.
Responsibilities
- Setting up and maintaining Microsoft 365 products.
- Administering Microsoft back-office systems, including Windows Server (2012–2022), Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Exchange Servers.
- Managing networking directory services such as Microsoft ADS, LDAP, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and WINS.
- Troubleshooting PCs, printers, mobiles, and tablets.
- Performing Cat5e/Cat6 cable termination and testing.
- Providing application support for MS Office / MS Office 365 and antivirus software.
- Configuring and managing remote desktop connections and VPNs.
- Supporting and maintaining virtual environments, mainly Hyper-V.
- Working with MAC OS, Mikrotik, and VoIP systems (considered an asset).
The ideal candidate should hold at least a years' experience within a similar role.
The role requires excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. It also calls for strong multitasking abilities and a keen attention to detail.
A valid driver's license and a clean police conduct are essential, along with the ability to lift and move equipment as required. Fluency in both Maltese and English is required.
