Professional qualifications such as ACAMS or ICA would be considered an asset, while extensive AML/CFT and compliance experience in a regulated or CSP environment, together with senior leadership experience, is essential.
This role requires strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership capabilities.

GCS Malta is looking for ana Senior AML & Compliance Manager to work with a leading firm in Malta.
Responsibilities
- Leading AML framework and operations across practice groups, including onboarding, CDD/EDD, ongoing monitoring, and sanctions screening
- Acting as Compliance Officer for the CSP, overseeing high-risk case approvals and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Driving AML risk identification, escalation, and mitigation in line with regulatory requirements
- Leading and developing AML teams to ensure performance, quality, and consistency
- Supporting Board reporting on AML risk trends and control effectiveness
- Engaging with regulators and supporting audits and inspections
- Enhancing AML policies, procedures, controls, and training programmes
