GCS Malta is looking for a Head of Product & Technology to work with one of Malta’s leading financial institutions.
The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and have at least 5 years’ senior product or technical experience delivering impactful solutions, with previous experience in financial services required.
One must demonstrate strong knowledge of UX/UI principles, product management methodologies, and payment systems including SEPA, SWIFT, cross-border payments, cards, and crypto, alongside broad and deep expertise across both product and technical domains.
Candidates must have experience leading cross-functional teams and translating business priorities into clear, actionable product roadmaps.

Responsibilities
- Managing technology products across customer-facing, supplier, and internal systems
- Leading product strategy, UX/UI direction, and feature delivery
- Building and managing partnerships across payments, KYC, FX, and crypto
- Developing internal tools to streamline onboarding and transaction monitoring
- Ensuring compliance with DORA and ICT risk and regulatory requirements
- Implementing ICT security and information governance frameworks
- Overseeing IT operations and scalable process design across the organisation
