GCS Malta is looking for a Ward Nurse to join one of Malta’s leading Hospitals.
The ideal candidate should hold a recognized Degree in Nursing and possess a current license as a Registered Nurse with the Nurses & Midwives Council of Malta.
This role requires in-depth knowledge of nursing care practices and emergency procedures, along with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff at all levels within the hospital.
Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively, are essential.
Fluency in English is essential, while knowledge of Maltese would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive nursing care to medical and surgical patients, including assessment, care planning, medication administration, and monitoring patient progress.
- Maintaining accurate patient records, reporting changes in condition, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
- Supporting patients and families through education, discharge planning, and compassionate care while responding effectively to emergency situations.
- Supervising junior nursing staff and healthcare assistants, assisting with staff induction, and contributing to a safe and efficient clinical environment.
- Ensuring compliance with hospital policies, quality standards, infection control procedures, and ongoing professional development requirements.
