Vision and Integrated Systems Expert

GCS Malta is looking for a Vision & Integrated Systems Expert to work with one of Malta's leading printing companies.
 

Responsibilities

• Implementing and maintaining inspection software and hardware for quality control. 
• Supporting Quality Control in creating training sets and materials. 
• Managing data and generating reports for analysis and customer requirements. 
• Analyzing vision system data to identify bottlenecks and improvements. 
• Validating system performance with testing protocols. 
• Staying updated on vision technology trends for system enhancement. 
• Supporting NPI and R&D trial requirements. 
• Performing system maintenance and troubleshooting. 
• Collaborating with engineering and production teams on system specs. 
• Providing technical support and training on vision systems. 
• Reporting daily issues and project progress. 
• Meeting OEE, RFT, and OTIF targets.

The ideal candidate should possess an MQF Level 5 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a strong understanding of image processing software and related hardware considered a plus.

This role demands strong project management skills, along with the ability to analyse and solve problems, collaborate within a team, and demonstrate excellent communication and self-motivation.

Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.
