GCS Malta is looking for a Senior Telecommunications Engineer to work with one of Malta’s leading telecom security companies.
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 4 years of experience in a telco engineering role, including strong experience with A2P/P2A gateways, SMSCs, and STPs.
Applicants must be able to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
Fluency in both written and spoken English is required.

Responsibilities
- Managing proprietary telco applications and ensuring technical performance across SMS and related protocols.
- Monitoring, testing, and validating configurations to ensure reliability and performance.
- Troubleshooting telco protocols using structured analysis.
- Ensuring uptime and coordinating service restoration with MNOs.
- Collaborating with MNOs and internal teams on design, deployment, and integration.
- Executing change requests, including planning, rollout, and testing.
- Adapting technical plans to meet operational needs.
- Performing additional related duties as required.
