GCS Malta is looking for a Software QA Engineer to work with one of Malta’s leading telecom security companies.
 

Responsibilities

• Designing test scenarios based on end-to-end solutions and customer use cases for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Performing manual and automated testing to ensure full coverage.
• Collaborating with developers and testers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Developing and maintaining automated test suites for multiple testing scenarios.
• Using test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, and Robot Framework with BDD approaches.
• Supporting setup and management of test environments and CI pipelines.
• Conducting performance, scalability, and stress testing using industry-standard tools.
• Working closely with product and development teams to ensure complete test coverage.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date test documentation.
• Researching modern and AI-assisted testing practices to improve processes.
• Performing additional tasks as required by management

The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years’ experience in QA Automation or SDET roles, with knowledge of SDLC and modern delivery practices, and hands-on experience in TypeScript and Python.

Applicants must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.

Fluency in both written and spoken English is required.
