GCS Malta is looking for a Senior Networks & Systems Engineer to work with one of Malta’s leading telecom security companies.
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 4 years of experience in a similar role and strong hands-on experience with the Fortinet ecosystem.
Applicants must be able to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
Fluency in both written and spoken English is required.

Responsibilities
- Managing firewalls, switches, servers, and network security systems.
- Administering virtualised and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Monitoring backup systems and ensuring data integrity.
- Performing system updates, patching, and security maintenance.
- Troubleshooting infrastructure and network issues.
- Supporting capacity planning and service availability.
- Coordinating with vendors and stakeholders on deployments and integrations.
- Adapting technical solutions to operational needs.
- Performing additional duties as required.
