GCS Malta is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager to join one of Malta’s leading financial companies. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Managing audit processes with consideration of audit risks and technical accounting matters
  • Leading client fieldwork and coordinating with departments to ensure smooth audit delivery
  • Reviewing work prepared by audit team members for accuracy and compliance
  • Identifying process improvements and preparing management letters with recommendations
  • Organising audit teams and ensuring clear roles and efficient workload distribution
  • Coaching and supporting junior staff and contributing to performance development
  • Supporting teamwork during interim and year-end audit engagements
  • Providing on-the-job training in audit methodologies and technical skills

The ideal candidate holds an MQF Level 6 qualification in Accounting from university or ACCA and has at least six years of experience in a similar role.

Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, combined with a proactive leadership approach, are essential.

Proficiency in a range of Microsoft applications and computerised audit software is required.
