GCS Malta is seeking a Senior Compliance Executive to work with one of Malta’s leading corporate companies.
Applicants should hold an entry-level AML qualification, with additional AML/CFT training considered advantageous. A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in AML/CFT compliance is required.
This role requires an understanding of financial services regulations, Maltese corporate services frameworks, company and trust law, AML/CFT obligations, and due diligence procedures.
Strong risk assessment and problem-solving skills are essential, with the ability to interpret regulations and apply them effectively within a business environment.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.

GCS Malta is seeking a Senior Compliance Executive to work with one of Malta’s leading corporate companies.
Responsibilities
- Managing client due diligence, onboarding checks, and risk assessments in line with AML/CFT regulations.
- Conducting enhanced due diligence, sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screenings to identify potential risks.
- Monitoring client relationships and maintaining accurate records, risk ratings, and compliance documentation.
- Supporting AML/CFT policies, internal controls, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Liaising with internal teams, assisting with compliance training, and supporting junior team members.
- Escalating suspicious activity concerns and contributing to compliance improvement initiatives.
