GCS Malta is looking for a Senior Logistics Executive/ Logistics Manager to work with one of Malta's leading FMCCG companies.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will hold a Customs Clearance License with previous experience in logistics, importation or a similar role.
This role requires a strong understanding of customs procedures, regulations, compliance, and excise processes, together with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential, along with a valid driving licence.
Fluency in English is required, while knowledge of Maltese would be considered an asset.

- Managing end-to-end importation and logistics operations.
- Coordinating customs clearance and regulatory compliance.
- Monitoring shipment schedules and resolving logistics issues.
- Negotiating freight rates and controlling logistics costs.
- Reviewing freight documentation, invoices, and ERP data.
- Maintaining logistics records and supply chain reporting.
- Liaising with freight forwarders, customs, and key stakeholders.
- Supervising and supporting the logistics team.
- Collaborating with internal departments to ensure efficient operations.
- Driving process improvements and supporting supply chain initiatives.
