GCS Malta is looking for a Senior Logistics Executive/ Logistics Manager to work with one of Malta's leading FMCCG companies. 


Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end importation and logistics operations.
• Coordinating customs clearance and regulatory compliance.
• Monitoring shipment schedules and resolving logistics issues.
• Negotiating freight rates and controlling logistics costs.
• Reviewing freight documentation, invoices, and ERP data.
• Maintaining logistics records and supply chain reporting.
• Liaising with freight forwarders, customs, and key stakeholders.
• Supervising and supporting the logistics team.
• Collaborating with internal departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Driving process improvements and supporting supply chain initiatives.

The ideal candidate will hold a Customs Clearance License with previous experience in logistics, importation or a similar role.

This role requires a strong understanding of customs procedures, regulations, compliance, and excise processes, together with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential, along with a valid driving licence.

Fluency in English is required, while knowledge of Maltese would be considered an asset.
