IT System Support Specialist

GCS Malta is looking for an IT Systems Support Specialist to work with an IT development company. The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing first-line support to end users. 
 

Responsibilities

• Providing first-line IT support for hardware, software, Microsoft 365, ERP, POS systems, and network issues
• Troubleshooting, resolving, and escalating technical incidents and service requests
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment, applications, and user devices
• Performing system maintenance, updates, patching, monitoring, and backup activities
• Supporting network connectivity, including LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and related technologies
• Managing IT assets, software licences, and inventory records
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base resources
• Supporting user access management, MFA, and IT security practices
• Assisting with IT projects, system upgrades, and technology deployments
• Collaborating with teams, vendors, and users to improve IT services and resolve issues

The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, with experience in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting IT hardware and peripherals.

One must have knowledge of Windows 10/11, basic networking, Microsoft 365, ITSM tools, and technical documentation.

 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with strong communication abilities and a customer-focused approach, are essential.

Fluency in either English or Maltese is essential.
