GCS Malta is looking for a Software Developer to work with an IT development company. 
 

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing technology solutions to meet client requirements.
• Implementing, maintaining, and enhancing software applications.
• Optimising software performance and ensuring system functionality.
• Gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
• Designing and maintaining software databases and system architecture.
• Testing software solutions and recommending improvements.
• Collaborating with management, technical teams, and third-party suppliers.
• Ensuring system security, governance, and business continuity.
• Providing technical guidance and overseeing project implementation.
• Supporting clients with technical advice and solutions.

The ideal candidate should have an MQF Level 6 (or higher) degree in a relevant IT field and 3 - 4 years of full-stack software development experience using Microsoft technologies.

One must have strong experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET, and modern web technologies including Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. 

The role requires strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Fluency in either English or Maltese is essential.
