GCS Malta is looking for a Deputy General Manager to work with one of Malta's leading international companies. The chosen candidate will report directly to the General Manager. 
 

Responsibilities

• Monitoring operations and project execution.
• Ensuring commercial compliance and value delivery.
• Managing teams, training, and staff development.
• Maintaining workforce standards and service quality.
• Leading projects for growth and improvement.
• Communicating goals and performance expectations.
• Supporting budgeting and cost management.
• Organising departmental processes.
• Ensuring quality standards and compliance.
• Coordinating suppliers and external stakeholders.
• Supporting business strategy and growth.
• Maintaining safe and compliant operations.
• Monitoring market trends and capabilities.
• Improving performance and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' management experience, preferably within waste management, environmental services, or industrial operations.

One must demonstrate strong project coordination, workforce planning, and operational management skills, together with sound financial awareness and the ability to interpret operational data.

Strong leadership, analytical, proactive, and interpersonal skills are essential.
