GCS Malta is seeking a Rig Manager to join a leading international jack up drilling contractor.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant technical discipline, with extensive experience as a Rig Manager. Experience managing standalone onshore rigs in remote locations will be considered an asset.
This role requires the ability to manage budgets aligned with company objectives and operate effectively within a multicultural environment.
Strong computer literacy skills and fluency in both written and spoken English are essential.

Responsibilities
- Managing rig operations, maintenance, production, personnel, and budgets to meet business objectives.
- Ensuring regulatory, safety, contract, and operational compliance across all activities.
- Driving performance improvements, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Leading crew development, training, performance management, and safety initiatives.
- Overseeing rig moves, maintenance planning, inventory control, and operational readiness.
- Managing client relationships, audits, reporting, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
