GCS Malta is looking for a Senior Analyst – Regulatory Insights & Advisory to work with a leading bank in Malta.
The ideal candidate should hold an MQF Level 6 Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Law, Banking and Finance, Risk Management, Accountancy, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in a financial regulatory environment, regulatory compliance, risk management, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of banking regulatory requirements, including prudential regulation, reporting frameworks, or related areas will be considered an asset.
One must be detail-oriented, organised, and committed, with the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities
- Providing regulatory guidance and interpretation on prudential, reporting, and recovery frameworks.
- Advising internal stakeholders on regulatory requirements and optimal reporting treatments.
- Monitoring regulatory developments and updating internal documentation accordingly.
- Identifying regulatory gaps, assessing impacts, and escalating key issues.
- Conducting research and analysis on regulatory changes, industry trends, and best practices.
- Liaising with regulators, external advisors, and industry groups on regulatory matters.
- Supporting regulatory projects and assisting with the implementation of regulatory changes.
- Developing guidance, training materials, and knowledge-sharing initiatives for internal teams.
- Delivering training and support on regulatory requirements and reporting obligations.
