The ideal candidate is a Certified Public Accountant with at least 3 years of experience in accounts or audit considered an asset.
Applicants should demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Advanced Excel skills and fluency in English are required.

GCS Malta is looking for a Senior Accountant to work with a leading international company in the sleep products industry.
Responsibilities
- Managing daily accounting activities, including accounts receivable and payable.
- Processing payments, supplier invoices, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintaining prepayments, accruals, fixed asset registers, and inventory reconciliations.
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Supporting VAT, tax, and finance compliance activities.
- Coordinating with auditors, tax advisors, and external service providers.
- Managing intercompany balances and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensuring accurate financial coding in line with Group standards.
- Supporting process improvements, system implementations, and finance initiatives.
- Collaborating with the finance team to ensure effective ways of working.
