GCS Malta is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to work with an international pharmaceutical company. The chosen candidate will be reporting directly to the Production Manager.
Candidates must hold a STEM-related or Pharmacy Degree (or equivalent) with at least 4 years of GMP pharmaceutical experience.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organisation, communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

GCS Malta is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to work with an international pharmaceutical company. The chosen candidate will be reporting directly to the Production Manager.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Production Manager in daily production operations and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Coordinating production activities, personnel allocation, and manufacturing schedules to meet delivery targets.
- Managing production processes, including material preparation, in-process controls, and batch documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with cGMP, EU GMP, FDA standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Preparing, reviewing, and updating SOPs, manufacturing records, and production documentation.
- Monitoring deviations, CAPAs, validations, and process improvements.
- Supporting troubleshooting activities and optimising manufacturing processes.
- Collaborating with QA, R&D, QC, and other departments on production and validation activities.
- Training and supervising production personnel to ensure competency and compliance.
- Ensuring safe working practices, proper PPE use, and adherence to health and safety requirements.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and achieving departmental KPIs.
