GCS Malta is looking for a Disaster Recovery & Incident Management Specialist to work with a leading bank in Malta. 
 

Responsibilities

• Supporting disaster recovery planning and maintenance for critical IT systems.
• Conducting risk assessments and impact analysis.
• Aligning DR plans with business continuity objectives.
• Maintaining DR and incident response documentation.
• Performing recovery testing and process improvements.
• Supporting incident response and issue resolution.
• Conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
• Coordinating communication during IT incidents.
• Providing DR and incident management training support.
• Promoting business continuity awareness and best practices.
• Monitoring industry trends and emerging technologies.

The ideal candidate should hold an MQF Level 6 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 1 year of experience in an enterprise IT environment.

Practical experience using disaster recovery and incident management tools and technologies would be considered an asset.

The ability to work effectively under pressure, along with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment, are required for this role.
