GCS Malta is seeking a Payments Clearing Specialist to work with one of Malta's leading tech companies. 
 

Responsibilities

• Monitoring payment processing performance, clearing rates, provider usage, and technical issues across assigned markets, brands, and payment flows.
• Analysing payment operations, regulatory developments, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for improving payment acceptance, clearing performance, and operational efficiency.
• Supporting merchant payment and payout operations by coordinating with internal teams, payment service providers, banking partners, and third-party processors to resolve operational and technical issues.
• Configuring and maintaining payment processing accounts, supporting Back Office and Reconciliation teams, and ensuring operational readiness.
• Managing provider communications, following up on new PSPs, supported currencies, payment features, and reporting payment-related incidents, including leaked payment information.
• Contributing to payment page and CRM enhancements, delivering internal training, participating in operational meetings, and providing ad hoc support for new payment initiatives and operational activities.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year's experience in a similar role, with prior exposure to online payment operations considered an asset.

This role requires a solid understanding of payment gateways, PSPs, MIDs, acquiring, and end-to-end payment flows, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and training skills are essential.
