GCS Malta is looking for an IP Network Engineer to work with one of Malta’s leading service providers. The chosen candidate must be willing to participate in an on-call roster.
Candidates should have a relevant degree or diploma in Networking, IT, Computer Science, or a related field, together with a Cisco CCNA certification and proven experience in a Network Engineer or similar role.
This role requires hands-on experience in enterprise networking, with strong knowledge of IP networking and infrastructure concepts.
Strong communication, organisation, time management, and prioritisation skills are essential.

Responsibilities
- Designing and maintaining network architectures, infrastructure, and configurations, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless systems.
- Managing network performance, security, IP addressing, VLANs, routing protocols, and infrastructure improvements.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, and wireless environments while providing technical support to users and internal teams.
- Implementing security measures, maintaining documentation, and supporting network planning, upgrades, and optimisation initiatives.
