GCS Malta is seeking to recruit an Associate (Lawyer) – Financial Integrity & Regulatory Compliance (AML, CFT and Sanctions Focus) to work with a leading multi-disciplinary law firm in Malta.
The ideal candidate will be a warranted Advocate, with previous experience in AML/CFT, sanctions, regulatory compliance, financial services, or dealings with the MFSA/FIAU considered an asset.
Candidates should have strong drafting, research and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail and sound judgment.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required.

GCS Malta is seeking to recruit an Associate (Lawyer) – Financial Integrity & Regulatory Compliance (AML, CFT and Sanctions Focus) to work with a leading multi-disciplinary law firm in Malta.
Responsibilities
- Advising clients on AML/CFT, sanctions, and financial crime compliance requirements.
- Drafting and reviewing compliance frameworks, manuals, policies, procedures, and regulatory guidance.
- Assisting clients with FIAU and MFSA examinations, remediation processes, and regulatory engagements.
- Monitoring Maltese and EU regulatory developments concerning AML/CFT, sanctions, beneficial ownership, and supervisory reporting.
- Collaborating with regulated entities, including financial institutions, investment firms, funds, compliance functions, and corporate service providers.
The ideal candidate will be a warranted Advocate, with previous experience in AML/CFT, sanctions, regulatory compliance, financial services, or dealings with the MFSA/FIAU considered an asset.
