Finance Officer

GCS Malta is looking for a Finance Officer to join a leading hospitality group in Malta. 
 

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and processing supplier invoices against agreed contracts and prices.
• Posting invoices accurately into the accounting system.
• Resolving invoice discrepancies with relevant departments and suppliers.
• Monitoring supplier pricing and supporting cost control.
• Following up on outstanding invoices and reconciliations.
• Preparing monthly accruals and maintaining job sheet records.
• Processing capital expenditure invoices and fixed asset entries.
• Assisting with licences, permits, and other finance administration.
• Supporting monthly stock takes and conducting spot checks.
• Assisting with general finance duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in procurement, logistics, finance or administration, particularly within the hospitality industry 

This role requires excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, combined with a proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, together with experience using accounting software, is essential.
