GCS Malta is seeking to recruit an Engineering Technician to join an international pharmaceutical company. The chosen candidate will be reporting directly to the Engineering Supervisor.
The ideal candidate should hold a relevant technical qualification and/ or an Electrical Licence A or B, with a minimum of two years’ experience in a Technician or similar role. Previous experience working within a GMP environment will be considered an asset.
Applicants should demonstrate a results-oriented approach, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong proficiency in English and a sound working knowledge of MS Office applications are essential for this role.

GCS Malta is seeking to recruit an Engineering Technician to join an international pharmaceutical company. The chosen candidate will be reporting directly to the Engineering Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Performing and documenting preventive maintenance on production equipment and utilities.
- Conducting and recording corrective maintenance interventions.
- Supporting the Engineering Supervisor in maintaining equipment functionality.
- Performing in-house equipment and utilities calibration.
- Supporting subcontracted technicians during calibration activities.
- Executing equipment qualification protocols.
- Supporting Production with equipment setup for production runs.
- Recording spare parts used during maintenance interventions.
- Ensuring mechanical and electrical safety features remain functional.
- Performing cutting and welding (hot work) as required.
- Maintaining clean, safe, and well-kept production, utility, and machinery areas.
- Supporting ongoing departmental projects.
- Assisting with routine plant pest control activities.
