GCS Malta is looking for a Legal Counsel to work with an international telecoms company in Malta.
This role will provide practical legal support on day-to-day matters while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
The successful candidate must hold a recognised law degree and have 3–4 years of proven experience in a law firm. A legal practising warrant will be considered an asset.
This role requires strong commercial law and contract drafting skills, with proven experience in reviewing, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts. Technology-sector experience is preferred.
Candidates must be able to build legal processes in a growing organization and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Fluency in English is essential.

Responsibilities
- Managing the full contract lifecycle.
- Developing and maintaining legal processes and SOPs.
- Improving efficiency through process redesign and automation.
- Maintaining contract records and governance standards.
- Coordinating legal and regulatory projects.
- Assessing legal risks and providing advice.
- Managing electronic contract execution.
- Supporting AML and KYC checks.
- Updating standard contract templates.
- Tracking legal issues and recommending solutions.
- Streamlining legal processes through technology.
- Performing other assigned duties.
