GCS Malta is looking for a Surgical Booking’s Officer to join one of Malta’s leading Hospitals.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, along with a focus on continuous quality improvement.
Strong multitasking, communication and organizational skills are essential along with the ability to work under pressure and have a keen eye for detail.
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Maltase is required.

GCS Malta is looking for a Surgical Booking’s Officer to join one of Malta’s leading Hospitals.
Responsibilities
- Issuing and following up on client quotations
- Booking theatre cases based on availability
- Coordinating with theatre staff, wards, and medical teams
- Communicating with patients on admissions, timings, and payments
- Entering and maintaining data in the Hospital Information System (HIS)
- Preparing theatre lists and updating utilisation records
- Issuing accurate patient bills
- Verifying and maintaining patient documentation
- Following up with insurance companies for payment approvals
- Preparing correspondence, reports, and administrative documents
- Printing patient schedules, labels, and admission forms
- Ensuring all billing documentation is complete
- Reminding medical staff of scheduled procedures
- Adhering to company policies and training requirements
- Reporting issues and supporting general departmental tasks
