GCS Malta is looking for a Procurement Coordinator to work with one of Malta’s leading solar energy companies.
 

Responsibilities

• Procuring electrical, mechanical, and general materials for projects and operations.
• Sourcing and evaluating local and international suppliers for competitive pricing and quality.
• Obtaining quotations and negotiating favourable prices and commercial terms.
• Coordinating with project teams to plan and meet material requirements.
• Managing purchase orders, deliveries, and resolving supply discrepancies.
• Coordinating international shipments and logistics through to final delivery.
• Maintaining supplier records, procurement documentation, and pricing data.
• Monitoring supplier performance, costs, and potential supply risks.

The ideal candidate should have procurement experience, preferably in M&E, construction, engineering, or building services, with international shipping experience considered an asset.

This role demands technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical M&E materials, specifications, brands, and alternatives.

Strong communication, computer, and organisational skills, with attention to detail and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems are required.
