Finance Executive

GCS Malta is seeking a Finance Executive to join a dynamic team and drive growth across multiple hotel properties, based in Malta.
 

Responsibilities

• Processing and verifying supplier invoices.
• Allocating expenses to the appropriate accounts and cost centres.
• Handling supplier queries and carrying out account reconciliations.
• Preparing and processing supplier payment transactions.
• Reconciling daily revenue, payment receipts, and cash transactions.
• Managing bank deposits, allocations, and cash lodgements.
• Reconciling OTA, travel agent, and debtor account balances.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assisting with month-end closing and reporting activities.
• Supporting management with additional accounting and finance-related duties as required.

The ideal candidate should be in the early stages of the ACCA qualification, with a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality sector.

The position requires a strong understanding of accounting and financial procedures, as well as relevant financial regulations, together with excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
