GCS Malta is seeking a Junior Finance Associate to join one of Malta’s leading financial companies. 
 

Responsibilities

• Processing purchase invoices, journals, bank statements, and ledger entries accurately and efficiently.
• Preparing sales orders, invoices, and purchase orders in line with internal procedures.
• Maintaining accurate financial records, documentation, and audit trails.
• Managing supplier accounts, reconciling statements, and resolving discrepancies.
• Recording daily receipts, allocating payments, and monitoring outstanding balances.
• Preparing ageing reports and supporting collection activities.
• Performing bank and ledger reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.
• Supporting month-end activities and ensuring accurate financial records.
• Preparing financial reports and responding to internal accounting queries.
• Assisting with finance process improvements and other accounting-related tasks.

The ideal candidate should hold a minimum A Level qualification in Accounting, while an AAT qualification would be considered an asset.

 Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, together with creativity and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and as part of a team.

Fluency in both Maltese and English language is considered a must and proficiency in Microsoft Excel is needed.
