GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Shipping Executive to join one of Malta’s leading companies.
Ideally, candidates must have a Diploma in Supply Chain Management and Logistics or higher, whilst 3 years of experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
This role demands strong knowledge of customs systems and requires applicants to be self-driven, proactive, and motivated.
Proficiency in using Microsoft office applications is essential.

GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Shipping Executive to join one of Malta’s leading companies.
Responsibilities
- Calculating landed costs and posting shipping invoices
- Negotiating freight rates and coordinating container arrivals
- Handling customs clearance and related documentation
- Managing insurance claims and supplier credit notes
- Monitoring and reporting damaged goods
- Maintaining consignment and bonded store records
- Preparing shipping payments and marine insurance reports
- Liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments
- Ensuring compliance with customs, NSO, and local authority requirements
