GCS Malta is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a leading company in the building and engineering services sector. The chosen candidate will be reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.
The ideal candidate will hold an MQF Level 6 qualification in Mechanical Engineering, with strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical building services. Experience with AutoCAD or similar engineering design software will be considered an asset.
This role requires excellent organisational and time-management skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, supported by effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using Microsoft office applications is essential.

Responsibilities
- Preparing project estimates, tenders and budgets.
- Conducting site surveys and monitoring project progress.
- Designing and costing HVAC and mechanical systems.
- Coordinating suppliers, procurement and materials.
- Providing technical support during installation and commissioning.
- Reviewing mechanical and HVAC drawings and specifications.
- Supporting and guiding site teams and technical staff.
- Preparing project reports and technical documentation.
- Keeping updated on industry standards and engineering practices.
