GCS Malta is seeking a Project Manager to join the team at one of Malta's top 5* Hotels.
A degree or diploma in a relevant construction discipline, at least seven years of construction or refurbishment experience, and strong hands-on site management skills are required. Relevant professional certifications are an asset.
Candidates should have a solid understanding of architectural, structural and MEP installations, site logistics, commissioning, and quality inspections. Experience in luxury hotels or similar projects is highly desirable.
This role requires strong site leadership, practical problem-solving skills, sound operational decision-making, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities
- Managing daily site operations, coordinating resources, and resolving construction issues.
- Monitoring project progress, productivity, schedules, and recovery plans.
- Coordinating contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and specialist trades.
- Managing site logistics, material deliveries, and work-area handovers.
- Coordinating technical interfaces, RFIs, drawings, and design queries.
- Monitoring health, safety, environmental compliance, and corrective actions.
- Ensuring workmanship meets approved specifications and five-star hotel standards.
- Coordinating inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, and defect rectification.
- Tracking procurement, materials, variations, delays, and cost-control information.
- Maintaining site reports, progress records, and risk updates for senior management.
- Coordinating project completion, documentation, and final handover.
