GCS Malta is seeking a Chef de Partie to work with one of Malta’s leading restaurants.
 

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene in line with HACCP requirements
  • Taking full responsibility for assigned kitchen duties and section operations
  • Managing mise en place efficiently for all service periods
  • Controlling waste and food costs within the section
  • Preparing dishes according to set recipes, specifications, and service procedures
  • Supervising and supporting chefs and kitchen assistants within the assigned section

The ideal candidate must have previous experience and training in an a la carte restaurant of a 5* hotel is considered an asset along with at least 1-2 years in a similar role.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, along with a positive attitude, are essential. Additionally, the ability to maintain consistent food quality is required.

Fluent communication skills in English are essential, while proficiency in Maltese and/or Italian is advantageous.
