GCS Malta is seeking a Compliance Executive to work with one of Malta’s leading corporate companies.
 

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and reviewing communications with regulatory bodies
  • Collecting and maintaining client due diligence documentation
  • Performing client risk assessments at onboarding and ongoing stages
  • Conducting and analyzing client screening investigations
  • Implementing client acceptance requirements and policies
  • Re-evaluating clients in line with risk management procedures
  • Liaising with departments to ensure AML/CFT compliance
  • Updating records and maintaining physical/electronic files
  • Preparing and submitting statutory filings
  • Supporting internal audits and policy implementation
  • Delivering AML/CFT training support
  • Ensuring compliance with AML laws and sanctions
  • Assisting in reporting suspicious transactions


Applicants should hold an entry-level qualification in AML and provide evidence of completed training. Previous experience of 2–3 years in AML/CFT compliance will be considered an asset.

This role requires a solid understanding of financial services industry regulations and standards, with strong knowledge of the Maltese corporate services regulatory framework, company and trust law, as well as AML/CFT regulations.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines, are essential. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.
