GCS Malta is seeking to recruit an Analytical Assistant to work with a local public agency.

 

Responsibilities
 

  • Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence with stakeholders, including domestic authorities, subject persons, and foreign counterparts.
  • Processing reports and maintaining information management systems, updating both digital and paper records.
  • Conducting searches related to suspicious transaction reports and other intelligence, assisting in report prioritization.
  • Supporting the analysis of suspicious transaction reports and other intelligence.
  • Providing general administrative support to section staff as required.
  • Maintaining and updating section policies, procedures, manuals, and guidance documents under management supervision.
  • Attending internal and external meetings, taking accurate minutes, and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Assisting in organizing events, workshops, seminars, and training courses.
  • Contributing to and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Performing any other duties assigned by management.
 

The ideal candidate should hold a School Leaving Certificate with at least five years’ relevant experience, or an MQF Level 4 qualification with a minimum of two years’ relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications or proven experience in administrative or secretarial roles.

One should be able to communicate effectively, along with excellent analytical, teamwork and management skills.

Fluency in both written and spoken Maltese and English is required, whilst proficiency in using Microsoft office applications is a must.
